Wildlife photography can cost a fortune. The latest Nikon 600mm f/4 lens mounted on their flagship Z9 would set you back around £20,000! But you can take stunning wildlife images for a fraction of the cost.

All images in this gallery were taken with a Panasonic Lumix FZ82, which can be bought new for £299. With it's 20-1200mm focal range, there is rarely a shot you can't take.

It does of course have its drawbacks, action shots are difficult and low light performance is not great but with patience and decent conditions, affordable little bridge cameras like this can capture beautiful images.
